Nestled in the leafy suburbs of Sevenoaks, an ordinary house held incredible potential. Our clients envisioned a spacious, light-filled home, but the split-level layout and steep site presented significant challenges. The architectural concept involved a substantial rear extension, a full basement with glazed walls, and a loft conversion. This ambitious design required complex construction expertise. 

MJ Rooney overcame numerous obstacles. We transformed a trussed roof into a habitable loft space, carefully supporting existing floors while creating an open-plan living area. The basement, excavated into the hillside, demanded meticulous underpinning and ground support to prevent structural movement. To achieve the desired glass walls, we engineered a bespoke steel structure. The result is a stunning home with a bright, inviting basement opening onto the garden terrace. Our expertise in complex residential projects delivered a truly exceptional outcome.
